How Unleashed UTV came about
I started in the off road enthusiast arena in the late 70’s racing 3 wheeled ATCs locally and quickly graduated to 4 wheel ATVs. Local racing was good but my father and I realized we needed to go run the larger series that were in California. So, we started racing the Mickey Thompson Off Road Championship Grand Prix. By 1986, I had won my first major off road championship. After the series had dissolved due to the untimely death of Mickey and Trudy Thompson, I went back to the family business.
The automotive repair business has been a part of the Clark family since 1953. I have done everything from pumping gas, installing engines and transmissions, suspension upgrades and engine performance.
My wife, Kynan, and I along with children Nicolette, Kelly and Payton are avid sand duners making usually 8 to 10 dune trips per season. Recently, in the last 5 years or so, I have been dedicating my time to UTV or Side-by-Side performance and suspension areas. Buying and testing many products, and after seeing some of the products and services that were out there, I decided that the market would be a good place to apply my customer service and business skills. Using the same principles I have in growing my other 2 businesses, I now have opened Unleashed UTV.
